It s...Obedience looks so different in each family. It sometimes looks to others like choice but in our relationship with Him we know it is obedience and so we need not worry what others think about it even though it sometimes hurts. I read something very comforting about the strong-willed child "when a strong-willed child's heart is turned towards Christ they grow up to be the kind of people who really get things done for the Lord" The thought of that has really helped me with our strong-willed child and as she gets older I can really see the fruit of that. I see God using her willingness to stand her ground in His name now. Not easy when she was 3 or 5 or even 8 but worth the battle as you already know. I pray a refreshing fill to your weary bones friend, wish I could be there to offer it up personally.<br />Love you!
